11/04 – 11/05
Manager of Customer Analytics at Sprint Nextel Corporation
Survival analysis forecast system developed using flexible hazard modeling. Survival analysis system is produced monthly, forecasting eighteen months of customer churn and one hundred twenty months of lifetime estimates (LTE). System was enhanced regularly with time-dependent and time-independent variables as needed. Analyses performed to determine the root cause of customer churn for regional and channel projects. Supported other groups in Decision Science group with forecasting needs. Stayed in close contact with clients by way of weekly meetings and on-site visits, in order to meet client needs. Regular meetings and presentations to drive business by gaining customers. Managed a team of statisticians.

09/02 – 11/04
Quantitative Risk Analyst II at Wachovia
Developed statistical models for consumer lending acquisitions group, non-real estate products such as marine, mobile homes, recreational vehicles, unsecured, new auto, used auto, and other secured. The statistical models were developed after determining that policy changes are warranted. The intent was to reduce risk associated with non-real estate products. Developed behavior score models based on credit bureau attributes. Developed a fraud behavior score model. Supported the General Banking Group (GBG) with adhoc analyses for various request such as credit bureau score and custom score validation. Assisted in the development of a forecast model to determine customer profitability measures of all products both real estate and non-real estate. Developed automated scorecard reports generated monthly or quarterly of characteristic analysis, population stability, override reasons, approval rates, conversion rates, dynamic delinquency reports, bad rates, and validation of scorecards. Mentored and assisted Risk Analyst I with SAS or statistical concepts.

01/02 – 09/02
Statistical & Analytical Research Associates (SARA), LLC.
Sr. Statistician on assignment at Insmed Pharmaceutical, LLC.
Author of bio-statistic section of statistical analysis plan (SAP) for a Polycystic Ovary Syndrome study. Analyzed data using statistical methods and created tables, listings, and graphs (TLG's) to specification of the SAP.

06/01 – 12/01
Statistical and Analytical Research Associates (SARA), LLC.
Sr. Statistician on assignment at Wachovia
Developed two models: probability of activation on prior inactive accounts, probability of activation of a good account on prior inactive accounts. The new experimental procedure in SAS, PROC MI was used to impute missing values of select variables and PROC GENMOD in SAS was used to analyze a repeated measures model with binary response variable. A technical report was written presenting statistical methods and findings.

02/99 – 08/99
Statistical and Analytical Research Associates (SARA), LLC.
Sr. Statistician on assignment at Triangle Pharmaceutical, LLC.
Analyzed data using statistical methods and SAS programming. Analyses were presented in a statistical analysis plan and created SAS programs that produced tables, listings, and graphs. Wrote separate programs for comparisons providing quality assurance of data. Data was managed by backing up files and storing on tapes weekly. Assisted medical writers by writing statistical section of report.

08/99 – 05/01
Adjunct Instructor at North Carolina Central University
Taught students College Algebra and Trigonometry, and Finite Mathematics. Participated in seminars and conferences. Tutored students during office hours. Reported grades and provided other required document to the administration.
